An aid you keep beats an aid that fits
The activities in this section do not ask the patient to hold information. They ask them to write it down and read it back. That is a different skill from remembering, and it is trainable on its own.
The aid can be anything they will actually keep: a pocket notebook, sticky notes on the door, a whiteboard in the kitchen, a paper planner, or the notes app on the phone already in their pocket. What matters is that it is one system, in one place, that they will still be using next month.
